Dodds Caesars Calpurnia, CD, CGC, Cally is a beautiful blue bitch who loves everyone. You only have to look in her direction to see her happy tail start to wag. Every time we take her some place and she sees children, she gets so excited. She just loves children! She is so sweet to work with and she always enjoys her training sessions. Cally began her show career with a Best in Match win under judge Chris Pratt at 6 months old at the Great Dane Club of Oxford, (CT) Match in April 2000.

Great Dane National 2003- Dual Ring 3rd Place!!!

Cally 3rd in Open Blue Bitch GDCA National 2003:         Cally 3rd in Novice-A GDCA National 2003:

Cally placed 3rd in the Open Blue Bitch class under judge Marilyn Draper at the Great Dane Club of America National Show October 19-24, 2003 in Orlando, Florida handled by Judi Arsenault.

Cally also qualified for the first leg of her CD title and placed 3rd in the Novice-A class under judge Richard O'Mara with a score of 185 on her very first time in the obedience ring! Cally earned her 2nd leg for her CD under judge Dan Butcher at the South Windsor Kennel Club Show on November 21, 2003 in Springfield, Massachusetts, with a score of 182 ½. She went on to qualify for the 3rd leg of her CD, under judge Chuck Crawford, at the Holyoke Kennel Club show on November 24, 2003, also in Springfield, Massachusetts, earning her the AKC title of Companion Dog!!!

Update:

At 6 years old Cally has come out of retirement to compete for her Novice Rally-O title. She has passed 2 of the 3 legs so far that are necessary to earn her title. We are looking forward to the spring 2006 shows season to complete her title.

Cally placed 4th under judge Dana Cline in Open Blue Bitch at the Great Dane Club of America National Show Oct 14-19, 2001 in Lancaster, PA handled by Jamie Donleson.

Cally won Best of Breed under judge James Noe at Merrimack Valley Kennel Club show in Fitchburg, MA January 14, 2002 handled by Jamie Donleson.

Cally's Mother's Day show picture:
Cally was awarded Reserve Winner's Bitch under judge Michael Lanctot at the Windham Kennel Club Show on Mother's Day, May 13, 2001. This is one of my favorite pictures of Cally. The angle may not be perfect for a show shot but it was such a beautiful day complete with sunshine and a bright blue sky. It was just gorgeous!

Cally went on to earn her AKC Canine Good Citizen, "CGC" in June 2001 under Barbara Keck.
