Tori was born April 10, 2003. She is the daughter of Dodds Caesars Calpurnia, CD, CGC, “Cally” and Laurs Latest Hotshot, “Hotshot.” She is such a sweet little girl. She is so affectionate. If you make a kiss sound, she will not only give you a kiss, she’ll also put her head on your shoulder to give you a hug. Some times she’ll even wrap one arm around you, hold you tight and give you a big hug too!!!

Tori made her debut at the Great Dane Club of America National in Orlando, Florida in October 2003 in the futurity class and also puppy bitch 6 to 9 month class handled by Judi Arsenault.

Tori attended the New England Drafting & Driving Club Workshop held on May 1st, 2004 handled by my daughter Michelle. Tori is learning not to be afraid to objects being dragged along behind her. This is the very first stage of learning to be a drafting dog. Tori is only a year old and still has a lot of growing to do. This means she is too young to pull a cart or any weighted loads, but she is old enough to start learning some of the basics of drafting.

Tori is learning how to back up in a straight line by using a backing chute. Later as her training advances she will be learning to back while hitch to a cart. Backing a cart is required in drafting tests. It also comes in handy if you happen to bump into some thing or you are working in a tight area.
